Sleepy!

Man, I overslept again this morning. That's what I get for chatting online with Kei and Feather in the wee hours of the night. I didn't hear my alarm when it went off at 5:00 am or when it went off at 6:00 am. So needless to say... i missed my appointment at the gym :(

That's okay tho, cuz I'm just going to go after work. I don't have to work late (not really). So, I'm just going to go as soon as I get home. Luckily I made tonights dinner yesterday. I'm going to have whole wheat pasta. I made the sauce yesterday. A whole heap of sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers. Yum!

So anyway, back on topic... I made a decision. I have to set a bed time for myself for the night before I go to the gym. So, from now on... I gotta be in the bed by 10:00 pm. That way, my body can get enough rest.

  • Awwwh DBS, I sorry. YOu know I stay up all night. I can't even imagine getting up at 5am. I barely get up before 10am. I plan to set a bedtime too. Half the day's gone before I put clothes on me or the shorties.

  • I'm still sleepy! I can't believe this. If I am still at work when ya'll reading this I am probably nodding off at this very moment. *lol*. Man, the effects of not enought sleep is crazy! I can't wait to hit the gym this afternoon. I had a lil bit of corned beef and 1/4 head of steamed cabbage for lunch today. I'm guessing that was the St. Patrick's Day lunch.

  • Since you are just starting the gym you only need to make it 3 times per week. You should not attempt more than that, it will wear on you and it will take you weeks to go back.

    You have 2 more times to go and 3 days to do it...but don't put it off.

  • I've been going strong for What? A month though, I tke 1 -2 days off a week. You definately need to take it slow if you are not used to working out, But at the same time have that PASSIOn to go. When Kei does something I jump in feet first. But I'm also addicted to Carmel apple sooooo....I haven't had any the apples I bought suck..They are so Sour.

    Grab you coffee, ain't it 2:30 there.

  • Yeah Sherine, I go every other day. Not everyday... LOL! I'm not superwoman.

    Yes Kei, it's about 2:45PM now. I don't drink coffee tho, it does nothing for me. So I figure why bother. I'm sitting here trying to drink this water.

    Besides the obvious reasons why you need sleep....it's also essential for weight loss that you get enough rest :)

  • You can always 'spice' it up a little. Try adding some Crystal light powder (I used to do lemonade & pink lemonade flavor). They come in nice little packets that you can keep at work or in your purse. Also, slivers of lemon in your water is nice too :)
